Persepsi Guru Sebagai Operator Dapodik Terhadap Mutu Layanan Pendidikan di SMPN 2 Tanjungsari

This study aims to analyze the management of the Basic Education Data (Dapodik) application, which currently relies on teachers who also serve as school operators. A descriptive qualitative approach utilizing a case study design was employed. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving the school principal, teachers acting as Dapodik operators, educational support staff, and students. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model—comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing—while data validity was verified through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that Dapodik management at SMPN 2 Tanjungsari remains heavily dependent on teachers appointed as operators based on their IT competence and the fulfillment of the 24-hour teaching workload requirement. Teachers hold a positive perception of the Dapodik system, viewing it as a tool that enhances the accuracy and currency of educational data, accelerates school administrative processes, and supports data-driven planning and decision-making; however, its contribution to service quality is indirect and contingent upon how the school utilizes the data.
